Our Story

Turning Loss Into Purpose

Will was kind, caring, a friend to all and a drug addict. He tried so hard to overcome his addiction but when he left rehab he had nowhere to go to get a fresh start.

He went back to drugs and died of a heroin overdose at age 25. He got into drugs at such an early age he really had no formal training of any kind and no more than a high school education. He did manage to get a job that worked him part time but that was not enough.

When you feel unworthy, drugs are an easy fix. You are always one decision away from disaster. If you don’t have God in your heart and something here on earth that gives you some sense of value, life is not worth staying clean.

Restoration Springs is a remedy for recovery and not just a transitional place to stay. Here you will receive job training and assistance getting employment, as well as a place that allows you to be away from old influences and have accountability. This is a place where you can worship, work and find your God given purpose.

We ask you to join us in this endeavor.

The Will Bright Foundation

is a 501(c)3 non-profit and was established in 2014 in memory of Will Bright, who died of a heroin overdose at the age of 25. Taking our pain and turning it into our purpose is allowing the Will Bright Foundation to make a difference in many lives.

Here is some of what we do

– Offer scholarships to those unable to afford intake fees to recovery centers
– Provide next step/transitional living, counseling, job readiness training and placement

– Extend awareness, legislation and educational information on the Opioid Crisis through our Washington, DC coalition group, Voices for Non-Opioid Choices
