Head Basketball Coach, Auburn University
In seven years as head coach at Auburn, Bruce Pearl has led the Tigers to over 180 wins, two Southeastern Conference championships, consecutive NCAA Tournament berths and the program’s first ever appearance in the Final Four.
While Bruce Pearl’s on-court success has been well-documented, where he has made the most impact has been in the communities that he has lived in and visited. Coming from a humble Jewish background, Pearl has made it his mission to spread the good word and love for the Holy Land.
A native of Boston, Mass., Pearl received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Boston College in 1982, graduating cum laude. Pearl has two daughters: Jacqui and Leah, two sons: Steven and Michael, one granddaughter: Chaya and one grandson: Jaden. He is married to the former Brandy Miller of Sevierville, Tenn.
