Routine is Vital in my Recovery

Meet Thomas…born in South Carolina but calls Vernon, Alabama home.  Loves the outdoors, fishing, hunting and baseball. He also has 2 children and is a certified welder, Thomas took his first sip of alcohol at the age of 15, marijuana at 16 and eventually methamphetamine at 19.  Of course, this led to a path of addiction and found Thomas in legal trouble.  A family member was a missionary in Africa.  Thomas was allowed to travel to Africa where he lived for almost 2 years.  When he returned home the old friends where still there and unfortunately, he slid back into the world of addiction.  In and out of recovery centers, Thomas knew he had to find a place that would help him with his next steps in life.  A friend mentioned Restoration Springs might be a good fit for him.  Fast forward 6 months.  Thomas is thriving, sober and working full time at Phifer, Inc.  When asked what made Restoration Springs be a good fit, he said “routine, that is vital to my recovery.  I read my bible, lift weights and eat breakfast before I go to work. and I attend recovery groups in the evenings”. We are honored to be a part of your story.  May God continue to guide and bless you on your journey! Oh, that you would bless me indeed and enlarge my territory, that your hand would be with me…1 Corinthians 4:10
