Meet Jake…
While growing up in Dothan, Alabama, Jake enjoyed all things outdoors. He played football, loved to golf, hunt and fish, the all American boy. After graduating from high school he attended Jeff Davis Community College and later became a certified Pipe Welder. During these years Jake made some choices that later led to addiction. Realizing he needed help taking that next step in his recovery, Jake came to Restoration Springs in search of a new life, free from addiction. Fast forward, Jake has a full time job and is planning on moving his wife and children to Fayette to start a new life! When asked what he values most at Restoration Springs, he said “Life without drugs, my job at Georgia Pacific and the teachings of Mike Emanuel” (Restoration Springs Executive Director) God is Good!
